Music Generation Clare payments and refund policy

Exemptions
There are no exemptions available. In cases of financial hardship, learners may request a fee reduction, payment instalments or fee waiver by writing to the Music Development Officer who will make an appropriate recommendation to the board of the LCETB.
Refunds
Learners will not be entitled to a refund if two weeks or more of any term have been completed and, even then, they will only be granted in exceptional circumstances. If a learner deems they are entitled to a refund of fees, they may apply for same by submitting a written request fully outlining the reason(s) for the refund and supplying documentation if required. Each application will be dealt with on its merits. Fees will be refunded on a sliding scale, determined by the number of weeks into the term that the learner has applied for a refund, i.e. if term is 15 weeks – refunds will be based on the following formula: full fee ÷ 15 weeks x remaining weeks of tuition.
Online Payment Refunds
Each online fee refund will be applied to the Credit/Debit card used to pay the fee.
